Do I need prior AWS experience to join? ▼
No prior AWS experience is required! Our challenge is designed for beginners and intermediate users. We start with the fundamentals and gradually build up to advanced concepts. However, basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and some programming experience (any language) will be helpful.
What are the AWS costs during the challenge? ▼
Most exercises use AWS Free Tier resources, keeping costs minimal (typically under $20/month). We provide detailed cost optimization guides and budget alerts setup. You'll also learn cost management best practices that will save money in real-world scenarios.
How much time should I dedicate each week? ▼
Time varies by week (shown on each workshop card). Expect 2-10 hours per week depending on the complexity. Beginners weeks need 2-4 hours, while advanced topics like AI/ML and the capstone project require more time. The flexible format lets you learn at your own pace.
Will I receive certificates or credentials? ▼
Yes! You'll receive a completion certificate for the full 12-week program, and the challenge winners will receive AWS credits and or Exam vouchers
Is there instructor support available? ▼
Absolutely! You'll have access to experienced AWS-certified instructors through our Discord community, weekly Q&A sessions, and peer support network. Join our Discord server to connect with mentors and fellow participants 24/7.
Can I catch up if I fall behind? ▼
Of course! All materials remain accessible throughout the challenge and beyond. our Discord community is very supportive of participants who need to adjust their pace. Learn at your own speed!
How does the progress tracking work? ▼
For now, progress tracking is manual, but we plan to implement automated tracking in the future. you have to submit your documented project link each week on the discord channel. We encourage you to document your work on GitHub or a personal blog like Medium or even youtube videos to showcase your learning journey and make a linkedin post at the end of every week sharing your journey.
